It was a great day for Carter. He finally got his hamburger maker. My friend surprised him with it on Saturday. She felt bad he didn't get it for Christmas so she had to buy it for him for his birthday. He was so excited. It was his favorite present by far. He did love his bike, but she won him over with that stupid mini hamburger grill.
We went and had Carter's picture taken Saturday morning and then Brett asked him where he wanted to go to lunch for his birthday and he said, "Costco". It's pretty sad when your kids think Costco is the greatest place on earth. You can't beat those $1.50 hot dog and drink combos.

Kev saw that mini burger maker on tv the other day and said he was embarrassed to admit he thought they were kinda cool.
I reminded him Carter wanted one for his birthday and he laughed so hard. Such a boy thing. He looks thrilled!
